BrianWillis

Brian Willis has been a lifelong resident of Iberville Parish. He graduated from Plaquemine Senior High School as part of the Class of 1980, and later married Charlotte Breaux Willis. They have three sons and two daughters-in-law: Toby and Heather Willis, Beau and Emily Willis, and Trent Willis. Brian is also very proud of his beautiful granddaughter Kate.

 

Brian has been an active School Board member for 20 years, has spent 18 years as a process operator in the chemical industry, and has served 10 years on the Atchafalaya Levee Board. For the past 10 years, he has been the Director of Solid Waste for Iberville Parish.

 

Brian was the founder and director of Plaquemine Biddy Basketball and the River Parishes Director of Biddy Basketball. He has also served as a volunteer coach for girls softball, boys baseball, and boys football. Brian is honored to have been the first white member of the Black Caucus, and he is currently a member of the Knights of Columbus and Krewe of Okeanos.
